We travel to you with enough instruments for up to 40 participants.
We work in class size groups through the day.
(Normally 4-6 in a day.)
We offer an optional performance/celebration at the end of the day.
For greater depth we can also work with just one or two groups in the day if you wish.
For a stand alone day we normally use our
big-world beatband
a multi-cultural set of drums and percussion
instruments from four continents
We also deliver ongoing programmes of sessions
(maximum 10 in a term) for:
African

with dundun (bass), gankoqui (bells), caixi (shakers)
songs with kalimba (African thumb piano)
amadinda (large Ugandan xylophone)
for groups with more experience
Samba

surdo, repanique, caixa,
tamborim, agogo, ganza, reco-reco
Ukeleles

chords, strumming, riffs and songs
Over a programme of workshops we develop skills and ability, always harnessing children's enthusiasm and excitment, inspiring them to want to progess.
The performances they produce at the end of a series like this are impressive, as is the ability to focus that they learn on the way.
